Art style is sharp and grim which adds to the atmosphere and ambience creating an feeling of dread and hopelessness. Which makes this city of sin more believable. Loved it onto the next volume

As a fan of the Shades of Magic series, it was really interesting getting to see a young Maxim and also experience more of the world of Arnes. An exciting adventure.

It's mostly fight scenes, but the magic looks super cool.

A short but interesting view into the world that Schwab has created, the story itself is good, but the explanation of what's happening is confusing.

I really wish I loved graphic novels/comic books more. I want to love this but i wish it was a novel I could follow along with easier, but I’ll still be reading the next volumes!
