I can honestly say It took me a while to read the novellas and I regret that sooooooo much. Closing the gaps in the wicked series is so much fun. Reading about Brandon and Emberlin was so much fun. I loved the almost instant recognition that he was missing something significant with her. Their passion burned bright and fast. And

This was not one of Shayla Black's best books, it could have been a whole lot better, I wish it was longer and had more to the story.

Very entertaining, quuick read. I am so glad Black decided to give these characters a well deserved happy ending. There is so much emotion pcked in to such a short story, but it is worth the read.

I enjoyed Shayla Black's other books so I tried this one. First off I didn't realize it was a short story. There was no plot not nothing just sex basically. A one night hook up in a short story. Wouldn't recommend paying for this book.

This novella is about Brandon, who was part of Wicked Ties. It is interesting that Shayla Black took a character that some may not have liked and turned him into a likable character. I thought this story was much too short and I would have liked to see a bit more character development. It was mostly just the steamy stuff and left behind most of the stuff that made the relationship believable and real.
