It's very rare when I five star a book. I freaking LOVED every single part of this book. It was a quick-paced timeline (7 days of romance in Paris), but the connection between Mia and Lucas was totally believable.

The chemistry was HOT and I liked how Mia started to unravel and let loose. Lucas was swoon-worthy and genuine. I often find it hard to find a true "genuine" male lead, but I liked Lucas from the beginning.

The opening chapters were a bit long-winded about Tucker, but it did help solidify the abrupt change in Mia that happened over the course of only seven days.

All in all, if you want HOT scenes, a little bit of humor, and a GREAT love story, you gotta check this out ✔

Melanie never disappoints me ❤️
I’ve loved every single book from her, but this one... It made me want to flee to France (in the middle of a pandemic) and fall in love!
She made me feel things, made miss falling in love all over again...

Mia’s fiancé dumps her a week before their wedding and her friends talk her into going on her Paris honeymoon alone. There she meets Lucas, a bartender in Paris for the summer, who offers to show her everything Paris has to offer. Lucas and Mia have a fast and passionate time together, but with her vacation ending, will their love survive thousands of miles, an ocean, and real life?

The premise of this book is like a dream. Who wouldn’t want to go to Paris and then spend their whole vacation with a hot guy as a tour guide who you have crazy chemistry with? You could tell they had so much passion, and Lucas likes to get a little kinky and rough with his sex which was hot. Everything up to the end was great, but the story ends so abruptly, then you have to read a novella epilogue (Yanked) to get their full story. Im not a big novella person, so I don’t love when this happens, and the epilogue had lots of drama.

I am FINALLY reading Melanie Harlow y'all. We are off to a good start with Frenched. The tension between Mia and Lucas was off the damn charts as they gallivanted around Paris! I would love to see where they end up. 4☆

This was super cute! Mia and Lucas have such an interesting story. This is—technically—an insta-love story, as it takes place over 10 days. However, the connection that Mia and Lucas had felt as if it was the result of decades in love.

Lucas taught Mia so much in such a short time, and I loved how he was with her. He was so sweet, he loved to joke around, and their sexual chemistry was INSANE! I do hate that he isn’t sold on getting married, but he did say that anything was possible for them, so I can’t wait to read the rest of their story in Yanked (their follow-up novella)!

this was my first book by melanie harlow, and while i did enjoy it (her writing style was pretty fun), the plot and romance were fairly basic. it seemed like lucas and mia’s relationship development mostly came from the hot sex scenes. the story overall was a quick and easy read though, and i’d recommend it if you’re looking for something low angst. i’ll probably skip the novella that comes next in the series and just move on to book two because i do look forward to reading more from this author!
