It’s a very solid, short but emotional and action packed Iron Fist story. It can be read by itself but preferably after Immortal Iron Fist Vol. 1 by Matt Fraction and Ed Brubaker, Immortal Iron Fist Vol.2 mostly by Duane Swierczynski, Iron Fist: The Living Weapon and The Immortal Iron Fists by Kate Andrews.
For more fun reading though with Iron Fist check out Power Man and Iron Fist by David Walker and Ed Brisson’s run on Iron Fist plus the mini event Contagion which actually stars Iron Fist

Moderate: Animal death, Body horror, Death, Gore, Gun violence, Violence, Blood, Fire/Fire injury, and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Grief
It’s a fun martial arts adventure with a slight supernatural and horror tinge. It’s quite light but when the violence comes it’s with full blood and gore so if you’re sensitive to that steer clear. I love the character Danny Rand/Iron Fist
