Well written and engaging but I think I know too much about the transgender aspect and some of the points made about gender and medical transition weren't fully accurate and took away from the plot for me

3.5 I enjoyed it overall. While I appreciated all that I learned in the second half of the book, it became a bit overwhelming and at times felt more like the authors were trying to educate rather than move the story forward. I felt a little more balance was warranted.
