Read this book if you're looking for: honesty, dealing with grief, family relationships, and lots of humor

I haven’t read a memoir like this in a really long time. I tend to gravitate towards fluffy romances and books that take me to another place altogether. This book, the whole book, deals primarily with Nora’s grief in and around her husband dying. What I think made me like this most was that although it deals with dying and processing death, I wouldn’t say it was a sad book. It was emotional, it made me stop and think, and it definitely made me laugh but it was not sad. This is for sure a book everyone needs to read, most importantly those who have dealt with or are currently dealing with death of a loved one. The chapters are short and it was very easy to read. 4 stars from me! I already added the rest of her books to my TBR.

Her blog was better. I finished the book because I felt a strange obligation to.
