I couldn’t wait to start Do Not Disturb, the sequel to The Girl in 6E, and it did not disappoint! Another thrill ride alongside cam girl, Deanna Madden. Deanna’s world is less locked up in her apartment, as she has found new reasons to leave, testing her urges while attempting to lead a more “normal” life.

I don’t want to give too much away for those who haven’t read The Girl in 6E (what are you waiting for, go for it!!), but this continues to be an erotic thriller, tying a lot of explicit sexual descriptions, due to the nature of D’s job, with thrilling, and sometimes a bit gory, details of the journey that she is forced into when one of her clients becomes a serious problem.

The audiobook was narrated again by Jorjeana Marie, who I cannot compliment enough on performance. Definitely a series that is great to do on audio, but make sure you’ve got a strong connection to your headphones, because some of the imagery created in this story is not for all ears 👀

I definitely recommend this series to those who love smut and/or thrillers! I feel like readers of The Ruinous Love Trilogy would enjoy this as well!

I love this series. It’s weird and twisted but I adore it. It always makes me laugh and makes me think and always makes me want to read more.

I didn't love this one as much as book one but it was still really good! I love these characters and absolutely love the narrator of the audiobook! Seriously one of the best I've listened too. I will be looking for more narrated by her!

I think I am in the minority here. I enjoyed the first one a lot more. This one was way more gruesome and also I found Deanna a little less likable. She somehow struggled more with her murderous thoughts in this one than she did in the first one? Also, why would she leave the house in the middle of the night naked? Some things just did not add up this time.

Honestly love the first book but not really with this one. I was hoping it'll be more thrilling and engaging but it was lack of context and depth. Plot development was minor and draggy, too much eroticism and romance, relationship stuff and Deanna on I-locked-myself-up-for-three-years thought. Nothing fancy except on how short each chapters are, which easy to digest and how flawlessly the author exchange her narration into different character's point of view. Also, I like that this book has more development about Mike's character.

I was hoping a more enthralling part about Marcus, something more appalling considering Deanna's wanted to kill a person too badly, also Marcus character that be shown to be aggressive and all I get is a bland the end. It was too sour and easy that at a point the narrative became too expected.

I was really taken aback with this one, but as I already bought the third book I think I will just read it too and get over with Deanna Madden.
