I backed this on Kickstarter because I was inspired to see stories from a different perspective. This suffered from poor spread layouts, spelling errors, and underdeveloped stories. Under a Jovian Sun was the standout excerpt in the book not only for its vibrant art, but its ability to create tension and cultivating narrative drive for the reader. Dnaw is a close second for it's simplicity in approaching story/folklore with a message. Overall, the dialogue was very underwhelming, cliche, and didn't feel organic, epecially in Mumu Juju and Razorman. It's nice to see creators from other cultures get in the spotlight, but I wish someone had taken more care constructing the book and working with the creators to smooth out all the rough edges and do some content development with the stories.
