I read and loved the Unwind series 10+ years ago. I would recommend rereading or reading a detailed summary of each book. I  would’ve enjoyed Unbound a lot more had I remembered the side characters more. I googled them but couldn’t remember how I really felt about them so that affected my enjoyment at seeing them on the page. Regardless, it was still a somewhat entertaining read. The last 5 stories (Unnatural selection, Unconfirmed,Untithed,Rewinds,Unknown Quantity) were the best ones. 

• Unschooled - 3 stars. It was cool to see a bit of the world before Unwinding 
• Unfinished Symphony - 1 star. I didn’t see what the point of the story was
• UnDevoured - 2 stars. Ronald’s backstory was not something I was interested. It come to no surprise that he had a sad upbringing and was a dick. 
• Unclean - 3 stars. I like the idea of bio weapon unwinding  and the new characters. 
• Unstrung - 3

I thought these stories were a great addition to the Unwind world. I love that we got to see some characters in a new light, as well as being introduced to some new and interesting characters. Overall, this was a great collection that added more depth to this exciting series.

A nice wrap-up for the series with backstories of minor characters, stories of some new people and new world experiences and perspectives and epilogues. I'll miss this series with i 's world building and characters.

Holy cow. I absolutely loved this extra book. It answered so many questions I never even thought of and all the little connections/easter eggs were incredible. The ending left my jaw on the floor. I loved this series and i will 100% be recommending this series to all my fellow book-lovers!
