While overall I thought this book was okay, I felt it fell flat to what it could have been. 

Totally fine for a novella, but there were quite a few scenes that didn’t seem to fit with the rest of the book or were just written for shock and felt too escalated too quickly. 

I think this would have worked well as a slow burn/longer novel!

I thought this was fine, the horrific parts were indeed horrific but I didn’t love how it all played out. I do love a gruesome novella though.
