As a kid, I absolutely adored this book. Last Friday I saw it in the library and when I tell you I HAD TO READ IT, something was calling me. Maybe my magical potential? haha. And even thought this book feels kinda childish, it made me remind I am powerful. I have my life in my hands & I deserve good things. I should fight like a girl, because we are stronger than they give us credit for. Also I am unhealthily attached to Meredith since I was a kid so. That was a + too.

Any book that I didn't finish and have no intention of finishing ever will likely always get a one star. This is one of them. I read two pages. Maybe if I were 12 I would like it. Maybe. Not likely though. I read too many other much better books by that age.

I am fully aware I am not the target demographic for this book. But, regardless; I liked it, particularly how the lead character got more likeable, especially after she helps her first "real" assignment.

After just reading the summary (and not the genre) I was expecting the main character to be in her late teens or early 20s. Probably because she has a job as intense as this. Imagine my surprise when I immediately got Meg Cabot-vibes from this. I was worried at first that I was too old for the demographic, but I absolutely LOVED the broad range of princesses our main character subs for. I think I will continue this series.

I was looking for something brainless and this did the trick while I was driving to family hospital appointments. Fluff but still enjoyable.

I thought the story line was interesting but the whole 'magical' part of it all kind of threw me off. The bubbles and time travel was kind of forced and seemed like a quickly thought excuse to tie up all the odd-ends and explain everything to get on with the story. Will read the second book as some of the characters were like-able.

This book was surprisingly good, but the idea was kind of weird. I just thought that putting on make-up to become a princess was weird. I think that it would be cool to be a princess substitute though. I am going to read the rest of the series.
