24 Hours in Ancient Rome: A Day in the Life of the People Who Lived There by Philip Matyszak

As with the Ancient Egypt one I've read from this series, this book was educational while remaining interesting. One thing I have really liked in this series are the mini-crossovers from characters in one "hour" to the next. I look forwards to reading the other books in this series and to keep leaning about different ancient civilizations.

It took me 14 days to finish this because some of the chapters are quite boring. Maybe if the writing style isn't textbook/thesis-like, it would probably give much better reading experience.
Anyway, I had a blast 24 hours "living" in Ancient Rome and I gained a lot of info about that time that made me feel grateful to be born in the modern times.

Very imformative and an interesting way to introduce yourself to something new ,by learning about it through its people and their daily lifes.
