This is one of my favourites I’ve read from this author. It’s very much on-brand with her surprise pregnancy, rarefied down-to-earth-rich-people genre of romance and this one definitely hits. Featuring single mom, Sophia, and pop icon, Easton, who have the sweetest meet cute with sparks, an intimate connection and an unexpected surprise resulting, this story explores healing and trust after going through heartbreak and betrayal in the past. I loved reading Sophia’s journey to finding it in herself to trust Easton and finding the courage to pursue the attraction, and I loved how open and intentionally Easton was about loving Sophia while respecting her independence. The supporting characters were a delight, special mention to Kendall, Sophia’s daughter and the family and friends. This was an easy, breezy, light read that was also sweet and emotional.
