I have had this book for ages now but never quite managed to find the time to review it. Challenging the concept of what a book can be, this chunky creation is as interactive as they come. Bending card, paper and thick string to her will, Anderson presents six different contraptions: a planetarium (my favourite), an instrument, spiralgraph, speaker (it really works!), decoder (for writing secret notes) and a perpetual calendar (for planning the rest of your life). The whole concept is superb fun and although it may appear a gimmick we have come back to it often to play and explore.

This doesn't count as a read as such, but I just had to document it! It's an absolutely gorgeous book with immense creativity, imagination and wondrously exciting! I love it and would wholeheartedly recommend it!

This book is SO COOL! Berry was obsessed with the planetarium and instrument pages. I had a lot of fun with the calendar and decoder ring. :)
