Important to read the first book in this series before this one because of some spoiler stuff that is carried on and talked more about in this series.
Really nice to read this with poc, and I appreciate that the author goes more in dept about family and family relations that - if you’re def a child of immigrants/immigrant or a minority- would understand. Seems like the author knows and have done their research.
And also the different type of steamy stuff, quite freeing and nice to see when it comes to a POC. Haven’t read many steamy books, but it was nice.
Would reccommend

Moderate: Death, Panic attacks/disorders, and Grief
Minor: Biphobia, Mental illness, Panic attacks/disorders, Car accident, Death of parent, and Fire/Fire injury
Goes more into what was briefly mentioned in the other book, and it’s sad. But hopeful.martamae77's review against another edition

I’m glad I continued this series because I really enjoyed this one! I didn’t realize the connection of Jia from the Modern Love books either, that Sadia is one of her sisters. There was more of a focus on showing the impact of these family dynamics and the connection between the main characters even if it wasn’t so plot-heavy.
Character notes: Heroine is bisexual
