An excellent selection of horror short stories. I felt the first couple were the weakest, but the rest of the stories were strong and horrific. A couple of these stories will sit with me for a long time, especially the oil one.

Probably the strongest collection of short stories I've read of Ito thus far. This one presents the best of his trademark style of taking the most mundane human experience and then turning it into the stuff of genuine nightmares.
Shoutout to 'Long Dream' and 'Grease' for still continuing to haunt my waking moments, even years after having stumbled upon them the first time. Rereading them here was a mistake! 👍
