Very good. I couldn't stop listening (did Audiobook, which was fantastic). I didn't love the ending, wanted a bit more explanation and epilogue, but the first 97% was quite exceptional.

This book was very well written. I was sucked in early, towards the middle was like “man this is disturbing idk if I can finish this” and then it all came together. In the end, I don’t know what to believe. The author does a great job and keeping suspense high, making you think you can predict the outcome, and then throwing in those plot twists

- The title is definitely accurate to the book because absolutely nothing Josie (one of the narrators) says is true. A wild ride and if you take the title super literally you may not be surprised, but otherwise it is very twisty and fun.
- The end of the book leaves it a little up to interpretation but I still think Josie probably did it herself.
- Obviously Nathan didn't deserve to be murdered for his drinking, but it isn't something that should just be pushed under the rug. He was terrible to his wife sometimes and I don't really accept the excuse of he just didn't want her to see him that way because he loved her too much. It seems like one of those can't speak ill of the dead things.
