An excellent sequel that builds on the world and romance. This one develops our main characters and relationships more and if you weren't invested by the first book this one will have you well and truly wanting more. I don't know how people read this before book 3 came out, as I needed to dive straight into the final book after that explosive ending.

This book took me a while to get through. Personally I would have stopped after the first book but my friend really wanted to continue with the series. I also hate how at the end they end the book right before they finally do the deed like cmon!

I enjoyed this much more than the first book, but I feel like a lot of the plot is still confusing at times. This might be the kind of series you have to go back and reread to catch everything that you’re supposed to know as the reader to truly understand what’s going on.

Unfiltered reaction seconds after finishing the book: I abso-freaking-lutely LOVED this book. How am I supposed to wait for the next one?? And THAT ENDING.
It wasn’t perfect and there were some things that confused me and irked me but I’m giving this 4.5 Stars because I enjoyed it that much. It made me feel and forget about my reality which is ultimately what I’m looking for in a book.
