A book that validated my simply being as something both regular and subversive.

This book says more about object oriented ontology than ecology. I started off really interested and engaged, as Morton dissects the current discourse around ecology, which can often lead to either apathy or a paralysing dread, but then it just got more and more impenetrable and seemingly irrelevant. I gave up because the writing style felt deliberately obtuse.
