I am just loving this series this is book number five and while it can be read on its own I personally think they are so much better if read in order. This book is Adam and Beth's story neither one of these two is looking for more than a fun night but what they are not expecting is to catch feelings and want more. I really liked these two they were good likable real characters this was a super addition to the series I would recommend it

I just loved how both Adam and Beth weren't looking for relationships, they just wanted a physical connection that they could walk away from ... yeah good luck with that. There is plenty of steamy scenes, conflicting emotions, denial and injury that has you hooked on Beth and Adams story. I liked how there is a tug of war in regards to their emotions and times where you wanted to smack their heads together while they try and draw a line in what they should and shouldn't do as well as what they don't want to see happening to their "physical" relationship and that i what makes this a great read that has plenty of heat to it!

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I received a free copy for an honest review and here is mine. I wasn't sure what to expect with this book. I love Lisa B. Kamps Baltimore Banners series and I have to say that this was an amazing book and I will have to read the rest of the books. This book is not your typical romance. Adam Price that he has something wrong with him because he only does hook-ups for sex and only sees that person 3 times until he meets Beth Fuller.

This book is a great book to read and I would love to give you a spoiler but you need to read for yourself if Adam and Beth end up together or go their separate ways.

Lisa B. Kamps this series rocks and I cannot wait until the next book.

This is book 5 in the Firehouse Fourteen series and it features Adam and Beth. These two met at a hook-up chat room. She’s trying to prove that she’s much more than her demeaning ex-boyfriend says. Adam doesn’t believe he deserves anything more than meaningless sex. That is until he meets Beth and all his normal rules quickly fly out the window.

I love the cast of characters and the story line was great but failed to find the romance between the two main characters. I definitely think there was a lack of any type of connection between these two, at least until the end.
