Really enjoyed the art in this collection.
The stories were pretty simple and didn't add enough to the characters for me.

Really enjoyed this! I love the movie and the introduction goes into detail about how the artist came to work on the movies with George Miller and how these stories were part of the notes for the movie and you can really see how these backstories were implemented into the movie but with this comic it’s even clearer and engaging all on its own. I really liked the art style and loved the Furiosa and the Wives’ story the best.

I loved revisiting the world of Mad Max in these stories, and especially seeing some Furiosa backstory. Miller has created wonderful, compelling characters, and I look forward to being able to revisit them again and again in the future (with possibly another movie?)

It bugs me that none of the writers know what anarchism actually is (nothing to do with chaos), and that they hint at a character perhaps being gay, and frame it as a less-than-good thing, but other than that, I found the stories enjoyable. I flipping love the movie Fury Road and was delighted to get some backstory on those characters. In that sense, it absolutely delivers.
