I received an ARC from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

One of the best new adult books of 2015! I wondered for a while how Sarah would pull the whole 'don't touch Moros' plot but she made it in a way which was full of action, romance, betrayal and a battle among gods.
With Rylan free and the fates dying, Moros and Aislyn must cooperate before an ancient enemy arises and destoys everything. The Ferrys are in danger and despite all that Moros and Aislyn are drawn to each other.

I liked the descriptions of the mythical setting in this book. It managed to combine Greek mythology, Theogony and the story of Death in one book which kept me turning the page for more! I couldn't accept anything more than this ending and I am glad for reading it!
A top recommendation, you really don't want to miss it!

Loved it.

Great conclusion to this series. I could never guess what was happening next and that made this a great read.

3.5 Stars. I read the first two in this series a bit ago, and had to wait for this final installment to come out. When I understood this would feature a romance between Aislin and Moros, wasn't sure it would work (neither character has been particularly likable in the series thus far, and neither one prone to romance)... but it did.

Like the others, this is an adult read (sex/language, and the characters are older ... MUCH older in Moros's case :) A good conclusion to the series. Glad I discovered it.

I read this series years ago and liked it. Seeing that the audio was included as part of KindleUnlimited, I thought I'd give it another go, experiencing the books in audio format this time. This was originally the lowest rated of the three books, and that was the case even more so this go-round. While I still got into the story for books 1 and 2 ... here I just couldn't really keep my focus or interest. I almost gave up on it (but then I finished an audiobook and didn't have another ready to go, but still had this partial listen on hand). I guess I just didn't connect with these characters as much as the couples in the first two books. Even with a re-read, I'd be hard pressed to really remember what happened in this storyline.

Fated
is the last book in the Servants of Fate series by Sarah Fine and follows the story of Aislin Ferry and Jason Moros. The entire series has been building to this book! It’s action-packed, full of suspense and just enough romance to be considered New Adult.

Up to this point, Aislin Ferry had been my least liked character. She was snooty, emotionless, and dang right mean at times. But in this book, she is portrayed in a different light and she won me over instantly! She is still kinda snooty and uptight, but that’s an integral part of her character. She’s also fiercely devoted to her family, her role as Charon, and her duty as a servant of fate. She’s resigned to the fact that there is no one she can share her life with, no one that is except Death himself.

Jason Moros has been one of my favorite characters and he remains my favorite after having read this book. In the last two, the Lord of the Kere has played a pivotal role as first an antagonist and then as a partner. Now he gets his own story, complete with tragic past and pining love. He’s still dark and brooding, but he also loves with his whole self. This series has really been building up to him and the betrayals that occur within this book.

The plot focuses on two main things: first the attraction between Aislin and Moros and second the overarching plot of the series the unraveling of fate. The romance is this book is lighter than in the previous two in the series, but also steamier (so 18+ only!). The real draw for me in the book is the mythology. Fine has built a fantastic dystopian world full of Greek/Roman mythology with the sisters of Fate, keepers of Heaven and Hell, the Ferrys, Death, and Chaos. It’s full of suspense, surprising twists and betrayal. My head is still spinning!

Overall I really enjoyed this book. It was a fantastic conclusion to the series, answering a majority of my questions and still making me want more. I’ll miss these characters and the world they live in. I do believe I’ll be rereading it soon.

I was gripped throughout this entire book and i took alot longer to finish it than the other books purely because I didn't want the trilogy to end. This book had me Laughing, Crying and well every other emotion under the sun I could feel

An enjoyable conclusion. But it left a few questions unanswered in my opinion.

This has been lingering on my to-read shelf for much too long. I really liked the first book of the series. As I didn't get the second book, I had this one here in a holding pattern.

The first 20% of the book were simultainiously a bit boring and quite a bit confusing, probably because I skipped the second book. Not a good choice as a stand-alone, and definitely not without having read the first book. The world building is not as good as in the first book, not many explanations are forthcoming.

Moros sounds sexy and Ainslin like Barbie in a business suit. Soft, emotional woman and tall-dark-and-mysterious. Ainslin eventually becomes more kick-ass, although the action scenes felt a bit flat.

At around 40% I was really missing the scenery of the post-apocalyptic Boston of the first book. It had elevated the book above the ususal PNR fare. The characters as well could have done with more depth and development.

The PNR elements felt fairly silly at times, but that might be more due to me not really being a fan of the genre. I did some eye-rolling.

In the second half of the book I did some skimming, as the plot didn't really hold my interest. The development of our MCs' relationship was meandering along without much tension as well. So I was a little bored.

Towards the ending the story picked up again. I did like how it all turned out and wouldn't mind reading more about Moros and Ainslin.

Bottom line, some good ideas, some likeabel characters, stretches that bored me a little and I could have done with a more elaborate plot and more character development. I would have liked more complex world building. Many of the characters and their emotional state felt a bit one-dimensional. Not bad, not great, I would probably pick up another book or recommend it to fans of PNR. I am not rushing to the next bookstore just yet.

I received this free e-copy from the publisher/author via NetGalley, in exchange for an honest review, thank you!
