Very fast paced book, I did enjoy the MMC quite a bit, and the FMC was just okay in my opinion. Focus I feel is more on Hook which I find more interesting for the duration of the story! Definitely not as dark then some other stories, so I feel this book is a good stepping stone if you want to dip your way slowly into "dark" romance!

It is definitely a slow burn. I was expecting more at first it felt really clunky. All the plot twists kept me going tho. I rather enjoyed all the little easter eggs.

Not a book I would have picked out on my own. Could’ve had more romance. Spice was alright, which is why I rated it what it was.
