PWP. The audiobook didn’t have trigger warnings but it probably should. A bit too rapey for me (there’s no actual rape but I’d file under dub con at times). But if you like incredibly nieve woman is kidnapped by hot guy trope go for it.

This is typically not my type of book… I am not a dark romance girly. However, it was an option for a book challenge I am working on, and I am a sucker for Hook thanks to Once Upon a Time, so I had to give it a try.

I am so glad I did! This book is hot 🥵🥵🥵. I listened to the audiobook and was hooked right away 😋. There were a few minutes that made me wrinkle my nose, but the spice and eventual happy ending made up for those moments.
