Once again, the book is cute. It’s cute, okay? I think I’m too old to really suspend disbelief and enjoy it. The storyline is predictable, and I’m pretty sure I know what is going to happen within the rest of the series. But it’s cute and fun and I definitely, absolutely, did not at all, ever in a million years imagine the Benny Hill theme music during the final boss fight. Nope. Not me. Not ever. No way.

like i said in the last review: very cute middle grade series. the magic tricks it has interspersed throughout are fun and i think any child who's interested in stage magic would love these books.
Graphic: Abandonment and Child abuse

Absolutely adore this series so far!! I should ask boyfriend to randomly pick books for me more often = )
And yes, I've been filling in all the codes in pencil in my books as I go. As grow ups do. Yup 😅
