My main disappointment about this book was primarily the ending; it felt very rushed, with several unanswered questions that I think everyone reading would have liked to know. Other than that, it was very cute and humorous while also bringing up more serious issues like body image and grief.

I liked the body positivity but I didn't like the problems she made up.

Wow, what a wonderful story. I am glad my friend told me to read it. I couldn't put it down.

This was a very enjoyable book. I listened to it as an audiobook, which I think helped, because the narrator's tone and pacing and voice helped me relate to Willowdean quite a bit as I listened, but I really just liked the story.

Yes, there were moments when I wish I could've had a "come to Jesus" talk with Willowdean about her perceptions of her relationships, but that's part of the drama of the book and the fact that I always WANTED to sit that girl down and give her a talking to about it all just proved how involved I got in the story.

I also very much liked the fact that Willowdean wasn't like traumatized by her weight and wasn't bullied or anything at the beginning which is where a lot of these books start off. But her issues come to the fore little by little, which I feel is a lot more realistic.

Anyway, I really enjoyed it.

Cute story. I listened to it on audio and the narration was good. I liked the movie better than the book.
