I was really surprised that my edition of Little Women ends at the point where the dad comes home from the war! Beth’s still alive, Joe hasn’t left for New York yet, Meg is unmarried... Apparently all of that happens in the sequel called Good Wives! I enjoyed Little Women. I’ve started it before but never bothered finishing it.
