What the f**k did I just read?!
For all his intellectualism (and I'm personally not intellectual enough to know if it's real/actual intellectualism, or just pseudo-intellectualism), Kaufman is not afraid to make silly jokes. And I appreciate him for that. I laughed out loud quite a lot at this book, particularly the first half. It's one of those books (depending on who you are of course), in which the writer, or the character he has written, articulates a lot of your own thoughts. I also particularly appreciated the digs at cancel culture etc. But alas it just became too abstractly absurd in the end for me to remain invested.

As unhinged as you would expect from Kaufman.  This is a fast moving, ever changing story of a (usually) unlikable character tumbling through a world completely out of their control.  Hilarious, ridiculous, and extremely fun.
