This was a fantastic social thriller. It was heart-wrenching to read about how this fictional school abused students, knowing that in real life, so many adults think you can brutalize children into being successful adults. 

There were a few plot threads that felt like they weren’t explored as much as they could have been. The ending also felt abrupt.

WOW.

I found this book on a random tiktok ad that was promoting books by poc and I immediately bought it cuz of how interesting it sounded (and the cover was pretty). BUT WOW.

This book was perfectly fast paced and I loved how it was set out , during the start of the book we learn about each suspect , what they were doing before , during and after the crime as well as mini interviews/opinions of various other characters. Each person had motives and things that made them suspicious which was equally as exciting.

This book was so incredible, exceeded my expectations and the layout/structure of the story as well as the pacing was unique and exciting.

Loved the writing style; maybe a little bit too many POV interviews. It wasn't too much of a twist on 'who dun it'. Wish there was more follow-up in the aftermath.
