Just good fun. I enjoyed this first installment in the series and plan to read on! Interested to see character development as the story progresses.

Honestly not a lot happens. Felt like it was just setting up for the next book and the only proper advancement in the plot all happened in the last 10% of the book. Overall, it’s not bad and read it in a day so not too pressed but probably wouldn’t pick up again.

Imagine being a girl from a farm with no magic, a nobody. Then suddenly the prince wisks you away, the same prince who murdered your entire family minus your sister. 

He keeps you hidden away until he can no more. Suddenly you begin having feelings for the prince and your powers manifest. 

All hell breaks loose.
