My favourite genres are body/ecological horror, awe-inspiring SciFi exploration, and cute & stylish cartoons. This series is the wildly rare point where all my favourite things meet.

I found this one less emotionally devastating than the last two or three. I am not sure if I am relieved or disappointed by that as it is the emotional rollercoaster that keeps me coming back to this series. This one also has more of the storyline about those living at the surface. I know that there is that birthday death mystery going on but I am just less invested and therefore less interested in this storyline.
