MARCH 2023 reread —
I don't even know how many times I've read the HP series but it's been a while since the last one. A reread was definitely due.
I don't know why I never wrote a review for this series but I've read this first during my childhood and we didn't have goodreads yet at that time. HAHA! I didn't even bother when I finally had this account.
Anyway, HP series will always be near and dear to my heart. I grew up with these books. I grew up with these characters as my best friends. I don't know what my life would be if I'm not a potterhead. My life would've been so boring, I guess.
Whatever the issues surrounding JKR now, I will forever be grateful that she created this wonderful world. My love for this series can never be tainted.

I absolutely love this series!! I am very excited that I decided to pick it up once again. It immediately pulled me in, glad to be brought into Hogwarts and can’t wait to continue on!!

Cliched but true—this book is magical. It's a sign of how good the story is that I enjoyed it as much in my still-developing Portuguese as I did in English. My only small gripe is that it went too fast in parts. With Harry Potter, you never want the action to end. Can't think of a better first book to read in Portuguese. Now, on to the rest of the series!
