One of the best in the series. Good character development and action.

Typical, reliable Patterson and Michael Bennett. Always fun.

I have grown to love Micheal Bennett and his 10 kids, and James Patterson just keeps putting new books out there.
I really enjoyed this read, some parts were pretty dull at times, but for the most part, I was pretty sucked in. The action was as packed as is always is.

I quite like Michael Bennett’s character but there was a big plot blooper when the agent talks about how she doesn’t know Michael’s family or their names and then suddenly five pages later she knows his daughters name and she swipes her! Think author forgot previous plot links. Didn’t like the additional book being clipped onto the end either.

So I love the Michael Bennett series but I was a little disappointed in this one, it was 302 pages and had a bonus section for Manhunt that was 111 pages. Those 111 pages could have made Ambush amazing. I really think these little bonuses are a waste of time. But I do love James Pattersons books.
