“Home isn’t an address. Home is the place where you feel loved, secure, and at peace. Home is your best friend, your favorite little eight-year-old boy, it’s a fiery redhead who will break a promise because she loves you, it’s building a better place for the next generation, and loving and being loved by a man who makes you feel like you can do anything. Home is Payne Henderson.

Where can I find my Payne Henderson?!!!

If you've read the previous books in this series, you'll know Charlotte and Payne's story was a long-time coming. It did not disappoint.

I've loved Payne from his very first appearance in the series, and he only shone more brightly in his own book.
Charlotte, I think, was his perfect counterpart. The chemistry between them worked effortlessly, sparks flying like crazy.

One of my favorite books in the series.

This one hit the sweet spot with the country boy and city girl trope and it had all the feels that Amber Kelly effortlessly supplies.

My heart was really shook with book. I empathized so much with Charlotte and how her circumstances made her question her worth, feel limited in her future and how that could look. There is a lot of depth and layers to her character which I loved. Payne is such a heartthrob and boy was his dedication to loving her something fierce and beautiful. She’s definitely his little firecracker and I love that he’s her ride or die.

I really loved how real and raw every dynamic of this story felt. I connected with the characters and their emotions really well and as a reader that’s one of the things I enjoy most in the reading experience.
