This didn’t deliver for me as a thriller, but I enjoyed the relatability of each character and the parallels that connected each member of the relatable, dysfunctional family.

Easy simple read, but felt a little like a light Colleen Hoover.

The plot is very similar to a book I have read in the past - man abusing wife, gaslighting.
Heather - the much younger woman, engaged to Stephan, lack of self worth and self esteem.
Tully - Oldest daughter, neurotic, unhealthy coping mechanisms
Rachel - Youngest daughter, struggling to solve the mystery of a large sum of money her mother had hidden
I enjoyed the writing, the characters - it held my attention, but I wouldn't recommend.

Didn’t really like it. Story wasn’t suspenseful and some parts just didn’t make sense to me. I also don’t condone provocation and expectations of no consequences to follow. That really turned me off. It’s a regular story, no twists and turns.
