I was really excited to read this book with our book group, but it fell flat. I felt like the author was building up to something big that never really came. I loved her story and her direction, but I never felt like it really got to where it was going.

Conceptually, this should be a great book for me. But at probably 2/3 finished I’m giving up. For one, it’s very, very overtly Christian which is not what I’d be looking for. It’s also unnecessarily long. The author meanders without really coming to any clear points. Maybe she got there in the end but I can’t wait any longer.

The author seems very nice and has overcome tough challenges. I’d love to be her neighbor-just not her trader.

I wanted to love this book, truly I did. But in the end I wasn’t overly impressed. I honestly think it may just be that I am not in the right place in life to need this book. There were lots of fun stories paired with simple but sound advice. The author is well grounded while maintaining a conversational tone (which means the grammar can be a bit shaky, but I tend to overlook that in books like this). It’s a good book; it just didn’t really inspire me at this point in my life. Perhaps I’ll file it away for the future.

Having been through a personally difficult period that I’m still sorting out and healing from, this book not only hit things right on the head but encourages you in brilliant stories and bite sized pieces.

There’s so much here even if you haven’t been through a difficult journey to teach you to love yourself, find yourself and otherwise understand the unique creation that is you.

I’m in love with this book and recommend it very highly.

This a high level view to start you on the path to starting to discover who God designed you to be and how He uses everything for your good.

This book is an encouraging, inspiring, read. An uplifting conversation over coffee or tea Hurst reminds us all to remember or find our passions. She encourages and cheers for her readers. At the end of every chapter is a short summary, a reflection and an opportunity for responding to the material. This page was thought-provoking and a great reflective tool! I can see myself revisiting and rereading this book again again throughout my life.
