Obsessed with this. Read it in essentially one sitting (thanks pandemic 2020!), and could not love it more. Hilarious, clever, endearing, sexy, and so, so sweet. All the stars!

The cover is a little misleading. I thought this book is one of those light, sweet, and fluffy reads but, nope, it's not even close (probably yes when you are nearing the end). The story is kind of heavy and I admit the first few chapters are a drag for me. But despite all that, I liked how McFarlane delivered the message and the story itself. This is a good read even though the cover had me totally confused. I also appreciate that there's a little second chance romance in it.

If I could give this book 10 stars, I would. I couldn’t put it down and never have I actually related more to a main character in my life. I LOVED this.
