This is maybe the first Chimamanda Adichie collection I didn’t fully love. It was still striking and the descriptions of Nigeria and the US were stunning (as always), but I just didn’t feel as much connection to the stories as I usually night to her stories. I did like ‘The Arrangers of Marriage’, that was probably one of my favourites 🥲
