I read this for my local book club! It was a tough read especially as a mother-I just can’t imagine. It isn’t something I would have normally picked up to read, but I’m glad that I was given the extra push to read it. Definitely something not talked about enough and one woman in my book club mentioned she’s heard of high schools reading this which I think is great!

That fact that this book is based on the authors real life makes me incredibly sad and angry. No child should have to go through what she and her family did. 

This books serves as a great resource for anyone young or old that is experiencing emotional, sexual or domestic abuse of any kind. If you or anyone you know is or you suspect is suffering abuse of any kind please read this book.
