I really loved Aza's unique voice. It's clear that John has personal experience with OCD. The plot at first feels very John Green-esque until you realise the plot is not the point and it's only a means to an end. The first two thirds of the book were fine but felt kinda like any other John Green book but then the last third took up speed and really drew me in. Like this might end up being my favourite book of his after The Anthropocene Reviewed.
I'm glad this book exists so people can understand OCD a bit better.
Also there is just so many book references in this. That's such a John Green thing to do tbh

Talks about OCD and the character’s struggle with compulsions. Illustrates the realistic struggle of someone with ocd very well.

As far as I know, I don’t have OCD, but I am a hypochondriac. I felt both seen by this book and I felt my anxiety build on itself. John Green really captures the isolation and self-hatred that comes with medical-induced anxiety.

The characters were extremely lovable. Each interesting and with their own endearing personalities. The friendship between Aza and Daisy was sweet and complicated, but at the same time so simple.

As I’ve said in other reviews, if I find a book memorable I come back and give it 5 stars. So we’ll see if it sticks with me!

This book left me speechless so many times...
The characters were amazing!
The plot was awesome!
The writing style was fabulous!
Green has done it again!
He made me laugh and cry with these characters and Aza gave me a new perspective on life and mental health.
Everything checked the box for me.

Slow to start but as soon as I got into it didn't put it down. A classic John Green story with a flawed main character, loveable friends, kind love interest and a mystery Intertwined throughout. Really felt for the character throughout and her journey through this time in her life. Mental health and the struggles not swept under the rug but spotlighted as well as the impact it can have on those around you.

the ending was one that felt very real and brought me peace but I worried it wouldn't in the lead up. Hearing that her battles continue but she will lead a life and somewhat "go on" through it all brought me a lot of hope in the end

Finished this the last day of my vacation! This book was rather quick and was probably geared towards younger readers! But as an 18 year old who has struggled with mental health and mental illness as well as some grief, this book made me think about things in a whole new light. The plot of the book, from the outside is rather simple! Missing billionaire has reward money posted and two high school teens look into it! But the man on the run makes up so little of the plot when you think about it. Turtles all the way down is an excellent book that portrays mental health in such a true and honest way I haven’t really seen before. Seeing the relationship grow and change between Aza and Daisy and Aza and Davis. It portrays so well how one’s mental health issues can affect friendships and relationships! It was a wonderful eye opener and I’d recommend it to a younger-ish  audience! John green books so far have been a 10/10 for me!
