I read this for a class, but I could have gotten as much out of it without the class. It's super easy to understand. If you have an interest in socioling but don't know where to start, start with this book.

I've read it for studying purposes. Didn't finish it tho. It's pretty informative, easy to read but boring somehow.

This was my textbook for sociolinguistics in the spring of 2024. I learned a lot from it!

An exceptional textbook that introduces sociolinguistic concepts using diverse examples from across the world. A bit dense at times, but very well researched and put together.
