“It's going to look pretty good, then, isn't it," said War testily, "the One Horseman and Three Pedestrians of the Apocalypse.”

“He didn't administer a reign of terror, just the occasional light shower.”

Everyone knows that the eighth son of an eighth son is a wizard. But what happens if that eighth son of an eighth son has an eighth son? Well then of course, the eighth son of an eighth son of an eighth son is a Sorcerer.

Pratchett’s fifth book in the world of disc, is a magical civil war with deep inspiration from Arabian Nights, and like most other Discworld books I’ve read, is both delightful and hilarious from start to finish. The worldbuilding Pratchett manages to infuse within the pages, particularly with magic, makes this world feel colorful and vibrant. And having read several of these books now, I am able to pick up little Easter Eggs here and there throughout.

I wanted to like this more than I did but the constant switching of POV from Coin to Rincewind to The Luggage was confusing.
