This was another fantastic installment in this series! This book had an intriguing plot, plenty of exciting moments and lots of twists and turns. Dana's books are among my favorites of the Love Inspired Suspense line and I can't wait for the next one!

What a roller coaster!!! Honestly wish there were more Amish characters - a little misleading. Very silly and things didn’t really add up most of the time. For a small town there sure are a lot of murders. I don’t understand why they didn’t just get the feds involved, especially because these crimes happened across state lines. These small town cops really don’t play by the books! Also, the murder per capita rate in LaMar Pond must be THROUGH THE ROOF. Why are so many people dying????? I have lots of lingering questions that I know will never be answered. But then again, that’s not why I read these kinds of books. Really entertaining in a nanar kind of way. Might read more of them - just wish they were more steamy (I don’t think God would mind).

My bf and I read this entire book out loud to each other - truly an extraordinary experience, would recommend. I would also recommend purchasing the large print paperback version of the book - much easier on the eyes. Excited to discuss this during book club!

It was the amusing title that got me to read this book. The plot was very bad, but I was surprised by how many people got murdered. God was mentioned about as much as I expected for this type of novel. I haven't really read any inspirational fiction before so I powered through this just to see what they're like. It might be awhile before I go back to one of these again.
