no idea how accurate all of this is, considering the questionable credibility of the author, but if half of it's true, everything is worse than we thought. i will say that based on trump's words, actions and tweets over the past 3 years, most of it certainly rings true. all that said, it was an enjoyable read.

This is an entertaining piece and filled with quotes but also the dish. Is it true or not? 🤷🏼♂️ Regardless, I enjoyed reading it. It’s a lurid piece highlighting the deficiencies of this president and his rag-tag group of non-political advisors in the most polarizing political office on Earth. Parts feel less like fact and more like historical fiction. If you read this, you should take it as such.

Not really anything I didn't already know. I also question how Wolff knew so much about the inner thoughts and workings.

Engaging, wonderfully written. Almost makes you capable of feeling empathy for some characters.

It's like there's a pile of bad candy in front of you and you try some anyway and then can't get the taste out so you keep on eating more.
Or, it's a book that paints a picture of a stupid, incompetent president and administration. We all know it and pick this book up anyway for some more background.
Really the book is just an extension of the nonsense. I need to go change that 3 to a 2.

Is this a true account of the first nine months of Trump’s tumultuous presidency, or is it a case of alternative facts? I’ll leave that for you to decide, but I will say, it is a fascinating read if for nothing else than to document the facts of what his first year in office entailed. I’m talking about the explosive, rambling tweets, the showdown with the media, the child like speeches that he gives, the multiple staff firings, the Russian collusion investigation etc. These undeniable facts of his presidency, in the documented form of a book, makes FIRE AND FURY worth owning. I am sure that some (if not many) of the behind the scenes scenarios described in this book as these situations unfolded, are probably true. And also in some cases (if not many) only partially true. Again, I’ll leave that for you to decide. I am sure this book is going to be talked about for some time to come, but will it’s appeal last? That’s hard to say. Will it cause growing problems for the Trump administration? That is also hard to say, but I think the Trump administration in and of itself will continue to spawn growing problems from its own petulant and elementary design, regardless if this book disappears from the public conscience next week.
