This book caught my attention fast and held it all the way through the book. I was bullied in high school (and middle school and elementary school) and never expected a book from the popular mean girl's point of view to capture my attention so much. Maybe it was Sam's quest for redemption in her whole Groundhog Day like scenario but I really started to feel for her.
The days she went all out and nearly ruined everything were even relatable. What would you so if you knew you had a reset coming? What would you change?
I'm sorry some of the other characters don't remember her good moments on forgotten days. I kept hoping Kent or Izzy would remember and be with Sam in this loop.
I knew how the book had to end and I'm sorry it did. I wish Sam could have imparted her journey and wisdom onto someone else, let them in on the secret, but in the end no one can take that journey with you regardless of the outcome.
Poetic, relatable, emotional and wonderful. I don't know if I'll ever be able to reread it but I'm glad I read it. Much better than the Delirium trilogy for sure.

Finally I decided to come back to this book and finish it. When I first started reading this book back in 2020, i just couldn’t keep focussed enough to really get into it. Now over a year later when I’ve come back to it. I could not put it down. Everything was different, I was hooked and found myself enjoying every minute. Like the books story, I started the day again and tried to fix the mistake of last time (putting the book down) it was perfect and I don’t know why it didn’t work out the first time...

The repetition just bored me, and I didn't like how it ended.

I think I’m just too old for this book’s demographic. I loved the movie, but I couldn’t get past the main character’s flaws or that icky scene with her teacher.
Moderate: Death, Cursing, Suicide, and Adult/minor relationship

“Here's another thing to remember: hope keeps you alive. Even when you're dead, it's the only thing that keeps you alive.”
I've read and seen other stories with this type of plot line before, but none have made me shed a tear.
I'll be honest, I didn't really get into this book until around 100 pages. The story was a bit slow in the beginning, and some parts felt drawn out. I still ended up enjoying this book quite a bit though. I really appreciate how none of the characters are super perfect or insanely evil. There wasn't a single 'evil villain', and I appreciate that. I also ended up actually liking Lindsay by the end.

And even though I saw it coming, Sam's death still made me really sad.saraplovestoread's review against another edition

Had a difficult time getting into this at the beginning. It took a good junk of time and watching all the different versions of the characters before I began to like her.
