This is a beautiful retelling of The Nibelheim Incident™ from FFVII that combines the stories that are spread out about that particular incident across the entire FFVII Compilation and are gathered coherently into one book.
Since I never had the opportunity to play Before Crisis, there were some events and characters involved that I was unaware of, so if you’ve only ever played the original FFVII and/or Crisis Core, you will learn some new things.
There is also beautiful artwork and illustrations throughout the book. Even if you think you know The Nibelheim Incident, give this a read.
