A shorter story, I read this as part of Shifting Shadows. Always fun to get side stories and back stories, and these characters are interesting, looking forward to reading the rest of this series.

I'll be honest... the narrator just made it bad for me. I'm still going to read the 1st book, but I'll get the ebook for it :)

Starting to totally be obsessed with this series. I started with book one because I didn’t know there was a novella and honestly would totally recommend. The way things happen were totally not how I thought and there was anticipation of wanting to find out all through the first book. I’m totally becoming a super fan and I can’t wait to read the next one.

Wonderful story. Really wish I had read it before Cry Wolf. Now that i have read it I find I want to read more of this series.

Popcorn.
But popcorn is flipping delicious.

Reread 2023: I mean yeah. I read this in like two hours and thought it was pretty nice and only rolled my eyes like one time. We’re getting back on the alpha and omega train babyyyy although I just saw that I far Cry Wolf ONE star…

Holy hell this was such a rush. I am so impressed with this spinoff series right off the bat. Let's hope that the first full book keeps up the quality!

This is a great novella. It tells a well contained story without feeling like it needed a full novel. Story itself is enjoyable, and I'm looking forward to future installments with these characters.

I read this in two days :) I couldn't put it down. This is a great story for anyone who jas been reading Patricia Briggs's other books. I also agree with others who suggested reading this before Cry Wolf. I did at my husband's insistence and I'm glad for it. It really makes a good intro.
