This book was a handful. Absolutely twisted! I’m so glad this wasn’t a rapestory cause I think that would have been too much for the story.

The book is written in a letter media. Gemma talks directly to Ty which I had to kinda get used to.
I think the story wrapped up really well - overall a great short read.

I love this book. I read it back in highschool and decided to give it a reread when I found out there is finally a sequel. It was just as gut wrenching as I remembered.

Complicated and by far the most realistic kidnapping fiction I've ever read. They don't shy away from the wrong but allow for all the grey areas life can have. I can't wait to read the sequel.

This book did irreversible, irreparable psychic and psychological damage to my 14 year old brain and if I could turn back the sands of time I wouldn't change a fuckin' thing.

This book is pretty hard to rate. I liked the writing style, but tagging this as a thriller just made me expect more out of it.

Trigger/Content Warnings: Stockholm Syndrome, kidnapping, stalking, drugs, pedophilia
