Such an easy book to read with an interesting plot that never gets boring and a strong message in the end. It’s hard to no empathise with the characters even when they are are wrong.

This was a good book. It was a fast read. You can tell it was for young adults, but I think that any woman should read it. It brings into perspective how captors can make their prisoners make them trust them and have to rely on them.

Interesting, but not as good as I expected. I definitely wanted to finish the story, but it felt a little drawn out. I also would have loved an epilogue.

Loved it! One of the best Young Adult books for a long time.

I think this story was an interesting look into people who are kidnapped and experience Stockholm Syndrome; Gem was confused about how she could both love and hate her captor, and I find that interesting because few authors touch on the fact that you don't have to just love someone or just hate them. The fact that it goes so deeply into Gemma's thoughts is great. Sometimes I wished exactly what Ty was thinking, but I know with the format of which this book was written that wasn't possible.

No se que decir, tengo una montaña de sentimientos en este momento. Este es un libro que te hace sentir desde el mas profundo odio hasta, de cierto modo, un cariño extraño a los personajes.
Soy un revoltijo de emociones.

I read this when I was a lot younger and it really impacted me. I do not think this is a good book and now a days this would probably be really problematic but since I still think about it today I think for its time and my time it was very impactful.

This is the kind of book that you can devour in one sitting. It really messes with your head and helps you understand what it feels like to experience stockholm syndrome.
