This book is written for someone like me. The scenes are quick, but meaningful and the transitions full of drama. You begin feeling for the protagonist from the very first paragraph. You really build up hope for him as he grows through hardship after hardship and has to deal with what you get when life isn't what the rest of the world seems to have... it's real and when by the time the new face enters the scene, the excitement has built within the reader. I won't go too far, because I hate to give things away. Try it out.

This is the first book I’ve read by this author, and I like it! The story is very unique and I really like the characters. The ending did leave me with unanswered questions, but I still enjoyed it. I would definitely read more books by this author.
